So you know that Katy Perry song 'Firework', well that song was going through my head on the 4th of July. Prior to the big debut of the fireworks, children were playing, food was being brought in long ass lines, tents were being put up like we were all camping, and my group of friends found the perfect spot to watch everything. In the mist of excitement, I couldn't hit myself harder for leaving OFF at home. Thank God for Ash, who brought some....yay!!! There's nothing funnier than the Cha Cha Slide song coming on, and me hoping up and dancing around with everyone there. I felt like I walked into line dancing class back at home again. Everyone was chilled thank god, and the band there was awesome.Back to the firework song....
Songs like this really opens my eyes as to who I am as a person today. Its soooo nice to hear words of encouragement from a song. Rather than listening to someone talk about a bitch and how much they wanna have sex with every gurl in the world. Obviously, people are still slow with the way sex is suppose to be used.
Any who, cause that's another topic, I love when we have people that just be who they are instead of pretending to be who they want the world to see. If you constantly have a mirror reflecting back to everyone else, its time to break it. You'll never know how special of a person you are until you just say FCK IT!!! Sometimes we have to just let go of people that control of lives. I'd lie if I told you I didn't know myself if you were to meet me know. I guess thats why I was given the Character Award at my high school graduation. They didn't know how to describe me because they couldn't put me in a category with my peers. It wasn't a thing where I was a poser, I just didn't truly fit with the people I went to school with.
I'll always be my own person, and that's all I know to be. Call me a weirdo, crazy, or just out there.
